It was time. I'd be making an overstatement if I said I'd half-halfheartedly tried losing weight in the last 10 years. I'd go the gym for a few months at the beginning of each year and kid myself. September 2009 found me contemplating gastric bypass surgery to lose the 80+ pounds I had gained since starting my medication for anxiety and depression.
